As we begin the countdown to Christmas, I thought I’d share a little glimpse from our Christmas photoshoot. This awesome moment truly showcases what our lives are like 99% of the time – too many chiefs and not enough Indians basically. With a newborn baby, toddler, tween and Greek husband who all think they are chiefs, it was not easy capturing all us smiling at the same time. It’s sheer luck that we got one decent photo in less than three minutes that we were able to sit together in harmony.
But no matter how stressful it gets, I am so thankful for every morning that I get to wake up to my little tribe. I am thankful for all my family and friends who surround me with positive energy and good vibes. Thank you for bringing purpose to my life! I love you all to the moon and back. And for the record I am obviously the chief of the tribe!
Christmas is not a season, it’s a feeling. Aside from the overwhelming amount of stress and pressure, you feel the spirit of Christmas through love, gratitude, positive energy and letting go of any meaningless grudges of the past. The best gift of ALL is a happy family who love, respect and appreciate all the actions and efforts that are put forth towards each other. I feel truly blessed. Merriest Christmas Eve! Only a few more mental breakdowns until this year is over!
